Hi, I’m Zoya!

I love video games and consume them like they’re my lifeblood. That includes everything from otome and mobile games to Dark Souls and Halo — and board games and tabletop RPGs aren’t exempt either.

I tried to have a respectable career and life, but apparently I’m so addicted to games that even making them brings me joy.

I initially set out to become a game designer, and I’m still an avid learner constantly trying to improve my skills. Surprisingly, though, while completing my post-grad in game design, I discovered that the skills I’d developed through years of administrative and management work made me a pretty good producer.

Even more surprisingly, I genuinely enjoy it!

I like organizing things and making them easier to navigate. I get an unreasonable amount of satisfaction from spotting problems before they become problems and figuring out different ways to tackle them. I love working with people, helping them learn and grow, and creating an environment where they can actually enjoy doing it.

And, most importantly, production still lets me be part of taking a game from an idea to something people can actually play.
